๐Ÿ”ฐ First time at Lounge?

Q1. Should I come by myself?
Yes โ€” most people at the Criterion Tavern courtyard rock up solo. The host will wave you over and introduce you to a few faces before the first round.

Q2. Is RSVP required to get in?
Yes, every second Tuesday requires a Meetup RSVP. ๐ŸŽŸ
We check the attendee list at the courtyard entrance, so click "Attend" before you leave the house.

Q3. What does it cost to attend?
RSVP early and entry is free.
Book within 24 hours of the Tuesday start time and it's A$5 on the door.
A one-drink minimum keeps the courtyard bar running. ๐Ÿบ

Q4. Which languages do people speak?
English is the shared language, but you'll hear Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese and Korean around the courtyard tables too โ€” talk however feels natural. ๐ŸŒ

Q5. Can I turn up late or duck out early?
Yes. It's a drop-in courtyard night, not a seated event โ€” come straight after work and leave whenever suits you.

Q6. What should I bring on the night?
Photo ID (passport or driver's licence). Criterion Tavern is a licensed venue and will ask at the door.

Q7. What are the house rules?
We run a Zero Tolerance Policy to keep the courtyard safe:
๐Ÿšซ No Solicitation: No MLM, business recruitment, or poaching.
๐Ÿšซ No Harassment: No pickup artists or creepy behavior.
Anyone crossing the line is asked to leave immediately โ€” flag it to the host if you ever feel uncomfortable.

Q8. What's "VIP Access" for founding members?
Founding members on the Brisbane list hear about courtyard specials and party invites first. Join the VIP list to be part of the inner circle as we grow! ๐ŸŽ

Q9. Is this a dating or socializing group?
No โ€” Lounge Asia Brisbane is a cultural exchange, not a dating or singles scene. Friendship comes first; pushy approaches aren't welcome in the courtyard.
