Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your participation in events organised by Lounge Asia and your use of our website. By participating in our events or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Event Participation

• Eligibility: Most events are for participants 18 years of age or older, referencing applicable venue rules (e.g., licensed venues).
• Code of Conduct: Participants must treat others with respect. Harassment, rude behaviour, or discrimination will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event.

Lounge Table

Lounge Table is a friendship-first, six-person community social event created by Lounge Asia. It is not a dating or romantic matchmaking service. Applying does not guarantee a seat or a particular grouping; a seat is confirmed only after an invitation is accepted and payment is completed. Applications are free. For the Brisbane founding session, the invited seat price is A$30 (regular price A$39) and includes one coffee, tea or soft drink.

Cancellation and refunds: If Lounge Asia cancels or cannot provide the event, we will offer a full refund. If you cancel at least 48 hours before the event, contact us for a refund; cancellations later than that may be non-refundable where venue costs have been committed. Any approved refund is returned to the original payment method within the timeframe stated by the payment provider. Australian Consumer Law rights are not excluded.

2. Disclaimer and Liability

You acknowledge that your participation in any event is at your own risk.

• We are not liable for any accident, injury, theft, or loss occurring during events, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
• We are not involved in interpersonal disputes between participants.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on our website is our property or that of our licensors. By attending events, you consent to our use of event photography for promotional purposes, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

4. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
