GOOD TO KNOW
A few things
you might wonder.
How do I join?
Choose Join Plus and complete the secure Stripe checkout. No application or approval wait is required. Your paid membership starts when payment succeeds. A welcome email with your next steps and optional WhatsApp invitation is sent automatically to your checkout email. Group join requests are checked by an admin.
When would I be charged?
AUD 29 is charged when you subscribe and automatically every month until you cancel. There is no free trial. The checkout shows the amount before you confirm. Please use the same email for membership and billing, and do not subscribe again if you are already a member.
How do I cancel?
Use Manage membership on this page and enter your checkout email to access Stripe’s customer portal. Cancel before your next renewal to stop the next monthly charge. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period.
When is the first online social?
The first date and host are still being arranged. No date is confirmed yet. Billing starts immediately if you subscribe today; if you need a confirmed session date first, please contact us before paying.
Will other members see my phone number?
WhatsApp group members can see one another’s phone numbers. We’ll explain this before you join the group, and joining it is your choice.
How will online sessions work across time zones?
We’ll ask about your city, time zone and preferred times, then plan sessions around member availability. Online socials are held in English. Please contact us before paying if you need to check a particular time zone.
How do I join the WhatsApp group?
Your payment-confirmation welcome email includes a private invitation link. Open it, request to join and use your name so an admin can check your active membership. If your WhatsApp name differs from your checkout name, reply to the email. Joining is optional; group admission is approved by an admin.
Which in-person events are included?
One eligible regular event entry each month is included. RSVP is required. Food, drinks, travel, special events and any venue extras are not included. Check the event listing for its conditions.
Is the Brisbane gathering confirmed?
No. We hope to organise an annual Brisbane gathering, with members told first if it goes ahead. The date, format and costs will depend on interest and planning.
