Hemingway is at 19 Soi Sukhumvit 11, and Lounge Asia meets on the 2nd floor. Sukhumvit 11 is a busy nightlife street, so walk past the ground-floor noise and head upstairs.

Q: What is the nearest BTS?

Nana station, 3 to 5 minutes on foot from Exit 3. Coming by BTS is far quicker than a taxi in evening traffic — Sukhumvit at 7pm is not a road you want to sit on.

Q: What are the House Rules?

We run a Zero Tolerance Policy: 🚫 No selling: no MLM, crypto, or recruiting. 🚫 No harassment: this is emphatically not a pickup night, on a street known for them. Anyone making others uncomfortable is removed straight away.

🔐 Getting to Sukhumvit 11

Q1. Where is Hemingway exactly?

Hemingway is at 19 Soi Sukhumvit 11, and Lounge Asia meets on the 2nd floor. Sukhumvit 11 is a busy nightlife street, so walk past the ground-floor noise and head upstairs.

Q2. What is the nearest BTS?

Nana station, 3 to 5 minutes on foot from Exit 3. Coming by BTS is far quicker than a taxi in evening traffic — Sukhumvit at 7pm is not a road you want to sit on.

Q3. What does it cost?

Free when you book early on Meetup. If you book within 24 hours of the start it is 100 THB. Either way, please buy at least one drink to support the venue.

Q4. Who comes to the Bangkok nights?

Bangkok has the most transient room of any of our cities: expats on long postings, digital nomads, teachers, Thai locals who work internationally, and people passing through for a few weeks. Every session looks different.

Q5. Do I need any Thai?

None. English is the shared language and most of the room is not Thai. If you are learning, there are usually people happy to help, but nothing depends on it.

Q6. Is 7pm the actual start?

Yes, 7:00 pm Bangkok time, every session. Arriving in the first half hour is easiest — groups are still forming and joining one takes no effort.

No. Friendship first. Given where the venue is, we are stricter about this than most — the room is for cultural exchange and networking.
