Q1. Is it okay to show up alone?
Yes โ€” solo is the default at Harts Pub. Tell the host it's your first time and they'll introduce you around The Rocks crowd.

Q2. Do I have to RSVP in advance?
Yes, and Sydney enforces it more strictly than our other cities. ๐ŸŽŸ
No day-of tickets, a spot on the waitlist doesn't guarantee entry, and it's one ticket per person. RSVP on Meetup and get host approval before you travel to The Rocks.

Q3. Is there a cover charge?
Check Meetup for current entry details before you travel.
Buy at least one drink โ€” Harts Pub is a working pub, not a hired-out space. ๐Ÿบ

Q4. What language should I use?
English, Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese or Korean โ€” whatever's comfortable. Most of The Rocks crowd mixes languages within the same conversation. ๐ŸŒ

Q5. Do I have to stay the whole time?
No, once you're on the list it's drop-in style โ€” come after work and leave whenever. Just don't expect a spot if you show up without an RSVP.

Q6. What do I need to bring?
Photo ID. Harts Pub checks it at the door alongside the RSVP list, so have both ready.

Q7. What are the community house rules?
Zero tolerance, same as every Lounge Asia city:
๐Ÿšซ No Solicitation: No MLM, business recruitment, or poaching.
๐Ÿšซ No Harassment: No pickup artists or creepy behavior.
Sydney's stricter entry rules exist partly to keep the room predictable for the host to manage โ€” tell them if anything feels off.

Q8. What do founding members get?
Early word on Sydney's fortnightly Saturday dates before they go up on Meetup, plus party invites. ๐ŸŽ

Q9. Is Lounge Asia a socializing or dating community?
No. Sydney's strict entry rules exist to protect a cultural exchange space, not a dating scene โ€” friendship comes first, and aggressive approaches get you removed.
